Russia shelled a residential area in the Kherson region, and a child was injured, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reports.

Around 10:00 a.m. local time in Chornobaivka, Russian forces shelled residential houses in the village with artillery. An 11-year-old boy walking down the street was caught in the strike.

The child sustained a concussion, a shrapnel wound to his shoulder, as well as blast and closed head trauma.

Neighbors provided first aid, after which an emergency medical team transported the boy to the hospital. He is currently under close medical supervision.

Strike on bus

On the morning of August 9, Russian forces struck a commuter bus in the Kherson suburbs with drones. Two men were killed in the attack, and another 16 people were injured.

Among the wounded were three law enforcement officers, who came under a repeated enemy strike. As RBC-Ukraine reported, while police were attempting to remove the bodies of the deceased from the bus, it was hit again by an FPV drone.
