Mobile fire groups strengthen Ukrainian air defense, destroying enemy Shaheds. The military was shown a photo of the night work, reports the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The published footage shows the night work of fire brigade fighters in the Sumy region. The Ukrainian defenders destroyed the Russian kamikaze drones, which the occupiers tried to use to attack Ukrainian objects.

"Every day in the Sumy direction of the Northern Operational Zone, hundreds of mobile fire groups from air defense stand in for combat duty to cover military facilities and critical civil infrastructure facilities," says the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhii Naev.

According to him, the Russians have recently been trying to increase the effectiveness of kamikaze drones by using them in the dark. But despite this, Ukrainian defenders are ready to identify and destroy enemy targets around the clock.

Russian attacks

The Russian army tries to attack Ukraine almost every night, launching kamikaze drones of Iranian design. This night was no exception. The invaders fired three Shaheds from the south-eastern direction. Air defense forces shot down all enemy drones.

The occupiers are currently not carrying out mass attacks, as they did last year. Intelligence believes that the Russians are stockpiling resources to launch energy strikes in the winter.

Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat suggested that Russia could have stockpiled up to 900 long-range precision missiles.
