Russian Shahed drone carrying explosives falls in Moldova: Footage

A Russian drone was detected in the Moldovan village of Tudora in the south of the country. According to authorities, the drone was carrying explosives, states Moldova’s President Maia Sandu and the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
What happened
The drone fell near the village of Tudora in the Ștefan Vodă district, close to the state border. The competent authorities are already taking measures to neutralize the threat.
"A Russian drone found today in the Moldovan village of Tudora was assessed as carrying explosives. This is a grave violation of our airspace and a threat to our citizens," Maia Sandu wrote on Twitter (X).
The President of Moldova also stated that Russia is putting her country’s citizens at risk.

Reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the incident a threat to the safety of its citizens.
"The Republic of Moldova reaffirms the importance of respecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity," the ministry’s statement reads.
Moldova recently declared an environmental alert. After Russia struck the Dniester hydroelectric plant, hazardous substances entered the river.
Following this, Moldova summoned the Russian ambassador for a meeting and delivered a formal protest note. During the meeting, the ambassador was also shown samples of the polluted water from the Dniester.
