In the Samara region of Russia, in Tolyatti, a large petrochemical plant, Tolyattikauchuk, was attacked on the night of October 24, according to OSINT sources.
In the early morning, social media users began posting footage of a fire at a factory in Tolyatti, showing intense flames and thick plumes of black smoke.
A drone attack alert was issued in the Samara region in the early morning, and the local airport suspended operations.
The region's operational headquarters on Telegram provided no information about either a drone threat or a drone attack. Meanwhile, Samara region Governor Vyacheslav Fedoryshchev stopped posting updates in the Telegram public channel accessible to users in Ukraine—he began using other messaging apps to communicate with Russians.
Residents reported an evacuation at the AvtoVAZ plant following the attack.

Aftermath of the attack
Tolyattikauchuk is a large petrochemical enterprise in the city of Tolyatti, Samara region, Russia. It produces synthetic rubber, chemical raw materials, and gasoline additives.
The plant is significant for the civilian industry: its products can be used in the production chains of the Russian military-industrial complex.
The synthetic rubbers produced by the plant are used, in particular, in the manufacture of solid rocket propellant for tactical and ballistic missiles.
Last month, Ukrainian drones also struck the Tolyattikauchuk plant in the Samara region of Russia.
Tolyattikauchuk was also attacked in June of this year.
