Russian overnight strike targeted airfield - Ukraine's Air Force

During the overnight strike, one of the main targets for the enemy was an airfield. Recently, Russian forces have been attempting more precision attacks, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Yuriy Ignat, Head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force Command.
According to Ihnat, Russian forces launched just over 300 Shahed UAVs at Ukraine and air defense systems successfully shot down most of them.
The Head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force Command also noted that there were certain consequences from Kinzhal missile strikes, though far from all of them reached their targets.
"Local authorities have already reported - and we released an official statement - this concerns Volyn and the airfield (which was the main focus of the strike – ed.), as well as several enterprises in that direction. We see that the enemy has recently been directing its aerial attack assets more precisely. Yes, other regions were also targeted, including the Zhytomyr region," the Ukrainian military said.
