The number of people injured as a result of the missile strike on the outskirts of Chernihiv on September 4 has risen to five, according to the Telegram account of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration head Vyacheslav Chaus.

According to him, it is currently known that two people were killed and five were injured in the Russian missile strike on the Kyselivka community.

They were personnel of the humanitarian demining mission, Danish Refugee Council. The injured are receiving all necessary assistance at medical facilities.

Chaus noted that law enforcement officers are working at the site, documenting the aftermath of the strike.

"Another act of senseless terror by the Russian Federation — an attack on those helping to deal with the consequences of the war," emphasized the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Missile strike on Chernihiv

Today, September 4, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on a checkpoint at the entrance to the settlement of Novoselivka near Chernihiv.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the Russian forces struck personnel of a humanitarian demining mission who were clearing the area of mines and other explosive devices.

Earlier, Chernihiv Regional Military Administration head Vyacheslav Chaus reported that the Russian strike killed two people and injured three others. However, the number of casualties later increased.

He clarified that it was a targeted strike on employees of the humanitarian demining mission, Danish Refugee Council. The missile hit the Kyselivka community near Chernihiv.
