Russian missile strike on Dnipro: Casualties increase, enterprise damaged
In Dnipro, six people were injured in a Russian missile strike yesterday, although three were previously reported. Russian shelling also killed one person, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"As a result of yesterday's Russian rocket attack on Dnipro, a 51-year-old man was killed. Six people were injured," the official says.
One of the injured, a 37-year-old man, remains in a medical facility, while the others will be treated at home.
Fires and damage
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration also says that cars were burning in Dnipro as a result of the Russian attack.
"A total of 3 cars were destroyed and 12 others were damaged," Lysak says.
Windows in a kindergarten and seven private houses were also smashed. The shelling also damaged an enterprise, the official added.
Russian strike on Dnipro
Yesterday, on September 2, at 10:30 p.m., Russia struck Dnipro. The Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a ballistic missile threat.
Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration said that one person was killed in Dnipro as a result of a Russian missile strike and three were wounded.
The explosion damaged residential buildings in one of Dnipro's districts.
