Russian missile explodes near playground in Kryvyi Rih

Russians attacked Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile on the evening of April 4. The missile, which caused many deaths and injuries, exploded in the air, according to the Head of the City Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
“The missile exploded in the air. These are special airburst missiles meant to maximize civilian casualties. F**king Russians launched it into the center of a residential district, right near a children’s playground. Children died on or near that playground. There are 39 people currently in hospitals. Doctors are fighting for their lives - some are in serious condition, unfortunately some are critical, and there are children among them,” the statement reads.
Vilkul also clarified that the attack damaged 29 apartment buildings. In several, the gas supply was cut off and will be restored tomorrow morning. Additionally, an aid center has been deployed.
“Within an hour, we launched an aid center to support residents. We’re distributing building materials and accepting requests for help—no one will be left behind. Everyone will receive financial assistance to rebuild their home. Right now, the top priority is saving lives in our hospitals. The aid center will operate around the clock,” Vilkul added.
He also posted a photo showing russian media quoting the Ministry of Defense of Russia. Once again, they falsely claim the strike targeted a meeting of Ukrainian armed forces commanders and Western instructors.
“Those motherf***ers are hallucinating again about NATO headquarters on a children’s playground. And this isn’t some obscure military blog - it’s an official media outlet,” Vilkul wrote.
As of now, Kryvyi Rih remains under drone attack. Explosions have already been heard in the city.
