Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih: Aftermath of police building shelling
Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the center of Kryvyi Rih on September 8. Due to the shelling, a police officer was killed, and dozens of people were injured.

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, reported that the Russians struck the city center of Kryvyi Rih, causing damage to one of the police administrative buildings.
As a result of the Russian shelling, a police officer was killed. Three law enforcement officers were rescued from the rubble by the State Emergency Service (DSNS) and are in critical condition. Six more employees suffered injuries of varying degrees.

According to the latest information from the DSNS, 44 people were affected by the missile attack. As previously reported by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkhul, 19 were hospitalized, with three in critical condition.

The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, stated that three administrative buildings in the city were also damaged. Seven residential buildings were destroyed, including a multi-story apartment building.

The police are conducting a door-to-door check to assess citizens' condition. Rescue operations are ongoing.
The DSNS at the scene has set up an Emergency Psychological Assistance Point. Psychologists are providing support to the victims and local citizens.
