Last night, several regions in the Russian Federation were heavily attacked by strike drones. The main targets of the strikes were the temporarily occupied Crimea and the Krasnodar Krai, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry, during the past night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 128 unmanned aerial vehicles.

  • 83 drones over the territory of the Krasnodar Krai;
  • 30 drones over the territory of the Republic of Crimea;
  • 8 drones over the waters of the Sea of Azov;
  • 5 drones over the waters of the Black Sea;
  • 1 drone over the territories of Bryansk and Kursk regions.

Night drone attack on Russia

The evening before, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. In Dzhankoy, Kerch, and Sevastopol, explosions were caused by the work of air defense systems targeting objects over the Black Sea.

Additionally, overnight, drones attacked the Krasnodar Krai, with Tuapse and Anapa being hit. About 40 explosions were heard in the sky over Tuapse. As a result of falling debris, damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded, and fires broke out.
