On the night of August 12, drones were shot down near the Chkalovsky military airfield in the Moscow region's Shchyolkovo, reports ASTRA.
The Telegram channel writes that residents and Z-channels reported the drone attack on the airfield. Specifically, VCHK-OGPU reported the strike, publishing a video with sounds of gunfire.
According to ASTRA, an air alert was declared in Shchyolkovo.

Additionally, during the night of August 12, several explosions were heard in the sky over Kursk, Russia. According to Russian authorities, the air defense system was activated.
Explosions in Kursk were also reported during the night of August 11. At that time, according to Russia, a "Ukrainian missile" was allegedly shot down and fell on a residential building, causing a fire.
