Russian massive strike on Lviv aftermath: Power facilities damaged
Several power company facilities were damaged during the Russian shelling of Lviv as part of a massive attack on Ukraine on February 15, according to the Energy Ministry.
"The morning massive enemy shelling did not have a critical impact on the operation of power facilities. However, as a result of the strike in Lviv, several facilities of the distribution system operator were significantly damaged, including a transformer substation," the statement says.
Also, an infrastructure facility in the city was de-energized.
Russian shelling of Lviv
On February 15, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using both kamikaze drones and rockets. Explosions were heard in several cities, including Lviv. There were reports of air defense operations.
The Russian occupiers struck over 10 missiles on Lviv. As a result, three people were injured. An infrastructure facility was hit and a fire started. In addition, the blast wave smashed some windows in 16 residential buildings and damaged cars parked nearby.
