Russian offensive in northern Ukraine
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Russia has effectively launched a new offensive in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. According to him, the number of battles has increased across all key directions. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed a similar view.
However, as explained by the General Staff, while enemy activity has intensified on certain sections of the front in recent weeks, there are currently no signs of major changes on the battlefield.
According to RBC-Ukraine sources, Russia may ramp up offensive operations in most directions by late spring or early summer, potentially starting with the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
More details on Russia’s possible plans for a new offensive can be found in the material by RBC-Ukraine.
