Russian glide bomb strike on Ukraine's Kharkiv injures 22, including 8 children

On the night of September 28, Russian forces carried out a double strike on Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. Several residential buildings in the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts were damaged, and three children were injured, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
City authorities were the first to report a double strike on the Kyivskyi district. According to updated information from the Situation Center, one strike hit near apartment buildings in the Saltivskyi district.
Terekhov later clarified that two districts of the city had been attacked and that Russian forces used guided aerial bombs. Several residential buildings in the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts were damaged. In the Saltivskyi district, a guided aerial bomb directly hit an apartment building.
Three children were injured in the strike on the Saltivskyi district: a 12-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy, and a 3-year-old girl. They are receiving medical treatment.
The number of people injured in the Russian strike on Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district rose to 14, including eight children, according to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration. Emergency medical teams are operating in an enhanced mode.

The Russian strike hit the second floor of an apartment building, damaging the second and third floors. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, medical teams, and police are working at the scene.
On the night of September 28, Russia also attacked a residential area in the Rivne region. A private house was damaged, but no one was injured.
On the evening of September 27, Russia hit a 16-story residential building in Kyiv at the seventh-floor level in the Podilskyi district. According to preliminary information, there were casualties.
That same evening, Russia also attacked Sofiivska Borshchahivka. A strike on the grounds of the Stolichnyi market was confirmed, leaving people dead and nearly 10 others injured.
