In the Toretsk direction, the enemy has changed tactics. Now, instead of large attacks, Russians are using small infantry groups of 3–4 people, who try to approach the positions of the Defense Forces unnoticed, according to the spokesperson of the operational-tactical group Luhansk, Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Zaporozhets.

Zaporozhets noted that as of now, in the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group "Luhansk", the number of assault actions with Russian troops has decreased.

"In general, in our operational zone, the average daily number of assaults has changed; there are fewer of them. Perhaps because the enemy is focusing its efforts also on the Pokrovsk direction," he said.

According to him, in the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group Luhansk, the occupiers are currently concentrating efforts in the direction of Yablunivka and Oleksandro-Kalynove in the Toretsk direction.

"This tactic is characterized by the fact that these are small infantry groups of three or four people who try to reach the positions of the Defense Forces, possibly also to storm, and they are involved in these actions, sometimes using motor vehicles, buggies, and so on," Zaporozhets explained.

He informed that currently, no armored vehicles are being observed. Zaporozhets explained that the occupiers are trying to accumulate, including in small infantry groups, in order to continue assault actions.

"They use ladders to overcome anti-tank ditches. Once, we saw an ordinary ladder, another time they managed to bring an iron one from somewhere, and another point is that they use tree trunks, where they either screw in something resembling steps in order to throw it into the anti-tank ditch and then descend on this tree trunk to the other side," Zaporozhets said.

The spokesperson emphasized that the Russian army is using this tactic in order to continue assault actions.

Earlier today the commander of the unmanned systems battalion of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi, Mykhailo Trach, said that in the Kramatorsk direction, Russian assault troops are trying to break through to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine individually, on motorcycles or even in dog costumes.
