The consequences of the strike on Zaporizhzhia were reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

On the evening of June 24, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia during an air raid alert.

"Explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region. Stay in safe places until the all-clear," wrote Ivan Fedorov on his channel at 01:04 AM Kyiv time, urging residents not to leave shelters.

Before the explosions, the Ukrainian Air Force had reported the detection of a high-speed aerial target heading toward the city. An air raid alert was declared across the entire region.

As of now, it is known that the recent attack on Zaporizhzhia caused damage to civilian infrastructure in one of the city’s districts: windows were shattered in residential buildings, and several vehicles were damaged.

Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties. Emergency services are currently working at the scene to inspect the area and document the aftermath.

Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov urged residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to immediately seek shelter during missile threats.
