Russians strike two Kharkiv districts with drones, causing casualties and power and water outages, according to the Telegram posts from Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

The occupiers struck the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv with drones, the head of the Regional Military Administration reported.

Kholodnohirskyi district

According to the mayor, the drone attack targeted the Kholodnohirskyi district.

"Information on possible casualties and damage is being clarified," he added.

Shevchenkivskyi district

Another strike was recorded, likely by the Molniya UAV, in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

"Preliminary information indicates there are casualties and damaged vehicles. A fire has broken out at the impact site," Terekhov confirmed.

Later, Terekhov denied reports of casualties from the drone strike in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

"In the Shevchenkivskyi district, seven vehicles were damaged, but no information about any casualties has been reported," he confirmed.

Kyivskyi district

A third strike hit the Kyivskyi district of the city.

"At the moment, there is no information about casualties," the mayor said.

Power and water outages, possible follow-up strikes

As a result of the attack on Kharkiv, some areas of the city may experience issues with electricity and water supply.

"Our specialists are already working to restore services to Kharkiv residents' homes. Follow-up strikes on the city are also possible — please stay alert," the city head added.

Russian attacks on Kharkiv

The Russian army regularly shells Kharkiv from the Belgorod region. As reported, an explosion occurred in Kharkiv on January 24. That day, the city was under a mass drone attack by Russia, with "hits" recorded.

Moreover, in recent times, the occupiers have frequently used Molniya drones to strike Kharkiv. For instance, on January 9, Russian occupiers attacked Kharkiv with a Molniya type drone.
