Russian forces strike densely populated residential area in Kharkiv: Casualties reported
Russian forces struck a densely populated residential area in Kharkiv during the day on September 2. Five people were injured as a result of the shelling, according to the Telegram channel of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
According to the mayor, five people were injured as a result of the shelling in the city's Kyivskyi district.
"The shelling hit a densely populated residential area," Terekhov reported.
A sports infrastructure facility was also damaged.
Additionally, garages are on fire at one of the impact sites, windows in surrounding buildings have been shattered, and the heating network has been damaged.
"All relevant services are working on-site. The locations where enemy KABs (guided aerial bombs) hit are being examined," the mayor added.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, there are currently seven reported casualties from the Russian attack.
A 60-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man are in serious condition. The remaining five women are in moderate condition.
Shelling of Kharkiv
On September 1, Russian forces carried out rocket attacks on three locations in Kharkiv: the Sports Palace, a shopping center in the Saltivskyi district, and an area near the Hydropark in the Kyivskyi district.
As a result of the shelling, dozens of people were injured, including children, medics, and rescuers.
On the night of September 2, the city was attacked by Shahed drones. In particular, a woman was injured by an enemy drone in the Kyivskyi district, and a private house was also damaged.
This morning, Russian forces shelled the Industrialnyi district of Kharkiv. In a garden community, a private house and three non-residential buildings were on fire.
