Russian forces strike central Kharkiv district with guided bombs
Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs this evening, October 4, hitting one of the central districts, stated Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"According to preliminary information, there were two impacts in the forest strip of one of the central districts of the city," Terekhov wrote.
He noted that there were no fires as a result of the attack, and there is currently no information on casualties.
Attacks on Kharkiv
The Russian forces continue to destroy Kharkiv with constant attacks. The enemy regularly strikes civilian infrastructure.
The main problem is the Russian guided bombs, which cannot be intercepted by Ukrainian defenders. These weapons can only be countered by targeting the bombers that launch the bombs.
Additionally, on October 3, sources within the Security Service of Ukraine informed RBC-Ukraine that the Borisoglebsk airfield in the Voronezh region was attacked by Ukrainian drones overnight.
This airfield was reportedly used by the Russian army to store its guided aviation bombs, and Su-34 and Su-35 bombers were also located there.
