Russian Forces poised for massive attack on Ukraine: Expert warns
Aviation expert Kostiantyn Kryvolap revealed in a comment on RBC-Ukraine that Russian forces are readying for a large-scale strike on Ukraine, with several indicators pointing to preparations for a massive assault.
"Kh-101-equipped aircraft are ready, Tu-22s with Kh-22 missiles fly regularly. As for 'Kinzhal' missiles, there are definitely three planes equipped. There haven't been major reports about 'Kalibr' missile carriers at sea, but they could be prepared within a day. The Iskander missiles are constantly being moved around, posing a threat as they’re regularly fired from Crimea at Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson," the expert explained.
According to Kryvolap, these missiles are already prepared on aircraft and could be launched whenever Russia decides to conduct a large-scale missile attack.
"However, that doesn't mean we should expect it every night. It's more about staying alert and knowing how to protect yourself," the expert added.
He also outlined possible targets for a future large-scale attack by Russian forces.
"I think they won't hit nuclear energy facilities, but substations and distribution centers are likely targets," Kryvolap noted.

In the Kyiv region, drone debris damaged private homes in one area. In Odesa, a fire station was hit, injuring firefighters.
Additionally, debris from the strikes damaged several civilian businesses, multi-story buildings, and private homes in the Poltava and Cherkasy regions.
