Russian troops place equipment in the homes of residents of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. This includes armored vehicles, military trucks, and even MLRS, according to the Telegram channel of the ATESH partisan movement.

It is noted that ATESH agents are recording how the Russian forces place military equipment in the seized homes of residents of the Kherson region. Armored vehicles, military trucks, and even MLRS are often brought in for such "storage."

They attempt to cover particularly valuable weapons with camouflage nets.

"The Rashists (Russians) systematically use civilians as cover, which is a blatant violation of the Geneva Convention. However, we are documenting all their actions and passing the information to Ukraine's Defense Forces — no one will escape responsibility!" the partisans emphasized.

Situation in the Kherson region

In December, the military reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had nearly the entire island part of the Dnipro in the Kherson region under fire control. The Russian forces attempt landings in this area 5-7 times daily.

Moreover, the enemy suffers heavy losses during assaults on the right bank of the Kherson region. However, their attempts to break through to the right bank continue.

It was also reported that the Russian command is sending troops on assaults on the left bank of the Kherson region but refuses to retrieve their bodies.

Recently, the military stated that Russian forces continue attempts to establish a foothold in the island zone at the mouth of the Dnipro River.
