Russian forces launch massive shelling of Kherson - Military Administration

Russians launched massive shelling of Kherson overnight on March 13. Residents are urged to stay in shelters, according to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration.
"Kherson is under heavy Russian shelling!" - the official reported around midnight.
He urged the residents of Kherson to stay in shelters for their safety due to Russian strikes on the city.
At 00:55, the official added that the Russian shelling of the city continued.
"Stay in shelters and avoid windows," he urged Kherson residents.
Shelling of Kherson and region
It was reported earlier that in early January, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, mentioned a significant increase in shelling by Russians. He also noted that attacks using FPV drones have become more frequent, with Russians using them, among other things, to strike vehicles with people inside.
According to the head of the regional administration, Russian forces are using civilian attacks in Kherson to train their drone operators.
Prokudin also previously stated that the front line needs to be pushed at least 20 kilometers away from Kherson to stop the "Russian drone terror." Until that happens, intensive shelling will continue.
On March 1, it became known that Russians dropped explosives from a drone on a child in a village near Kherson. Additionally, on February 24, they struck a residential neighborhood in Kherson, destroying buildings and causing casualties.
Furthermore, late on the evening of March 12, the Ukrainian Air Force recorded launches of guided aerial bombs from Russian aircraft toward Kherson.
