At night, Russian occupants struck a residential area of Kherson. As a result, a 72-year-old man was killed, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

Russian troops attacked one of the residential areas of Kherson, killing a resident. Russian occupiers shelled the Dniprovskyi district of the city, where a 72-year-old man was fatally injured when a shell hit a private house.

Rescuers quickly unblocked the body of the deceased from the rubble. They also extinguished fires that broke out at two addresses - in a residential building, a garage, a car, and an outbuilding. All fires were promptly extinguished.

Another resident of Kherson suffered from Russian artillery shelling. A 50-year-old man with a mine-blast injury was taken to a hospital where he is receiving the necessary medical care.
