The president stated that in the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian servicemen were caught in a Russian ambush, as a result of which there are fatalities.
"In the Toretsk direction, our warriors, unfortunately, were caught in a Russian ambush. There are fatalities," explained the head of Ukraine.
According to him, those responsible for this attack will definitely be destroyed.
"The Russian military who committed this will be destroyed," he said.
Putin’s Easter ceasefire
Yesterday the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced the so-called Easter ceasefire, which was supposedly to last for 30 hours, from yesterday until Monday morning.
However, as it turned out, despite the statements about a truce, combat actions did not cease.
In particular, in Kherson around 6:00 PM, a multi-storey building caught fire as a result of drone strikes, and several populated areas in the region were also attacked.
