Russian forces drop explosives on passenger bus in Kherson, injuries reported

In Kherson, Russian troops have attacked a passenger bus with an UAV. Five people have been reported injured, the Kherson City Military Administration reports.
In particular, Russian forces targeted a bus operated by the municipal enterprise Kherson Municipal Transport Service in the Dnipro district of the city. Due to the explosive being dropped, the vehicle sustained significant damage.
As of now, two people are reported to be injured:
- a woman born in 1960, with blast injuries and a concussion;
- a 56-year-old man, also with blast injuries and a concussion.

Due to high enemy drone activity in Kherson, routes to Independence Avenue have been temporarily shortened.
Number of injured increases
As of 09:45 a.m., according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the number of injured has risen to five. A 45-year-old woman and two men aged 62 and 41, suffering from blast injuries and concussions, sought medical help.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
Russia regularly strikes Ukraine using various weapons, from missiles and drones to artillery and aerial bombs. The attacks occur both during the day and at night. Frontline regions and settlements suffer the most. Enemy strikes are often aimed at civilian infrastructure and the peaceful population.
Yesterday, on May 19, a house was destroyed in Kherson due to a Russian strike. One person was killed, as the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
