Russian forces drop bombs on Sloviansk, destruction and injuries reported

On the morning of October 9, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, seven people were injured, including one in serious condition, Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reports.
Preliminary information indicates that the occupiers dropped two aerial bombs on the city.
Initially, Filashkin reported six injuries from the morning airstrike on Sloviansk, but later the number of injured increased to seven.
Among the injured, one person is in serious condition.
"We are assessing the extent of the damage. Once again, I urge all civilians to evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine! Staying in Donetsk is dangerous," said the head of the OVA.

Previously, in Sloviansk, six civilians, including a minor, were injured as a result of a Russian strike on an apartment building. Homes, cars, and shop and café facades were damaged.
