In Sloviansk, six civilians, including a minor, were injured as a result of a Russian military strike on an apartment building. Houses, cars, and the facades of shops and cafes were damaged, according to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

Yesterday, on October 4, at 22:40, the Russian army shelled Slovyansk, dropping FAB-250 aerial bombs from UMPC.

The weapons struck an apartment building. The following residents were injured in their homes:

  • Two women, aged 60 and 70
  • Three men, aged 31, 41, and 57
  • A minor boy

They were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, abrasions, cuts, bruises, and a fracture. All victims have already received medical assistance.

At least the following were damaged in the settlement:

  • 26 houses
  • More than 20 cars
  • Facades of shops and cafes

The prosecutor’s office noted that the full extent of the enemy attack is still being assessed.

Massive attack on Ukraine

On the night of October 5, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine. Lviv region and the city of Lviv were hit hardest. The enemy used almost all available types of weapons for strikes on the city and the region.

In addition to the western regions, Zaporizhzhia was also shelled. The massive attack caused power outages for tens of thousands of people, and part of Cherkasy region was also left without electricity due to damaged power lines.

During the night, strikes also hit critical infrastructure facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
