Russian forces attempt to advance near Serebryanske forestry - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has been increasing the intensity of attacks, attempting to find ways to infiltrate our defenses and trying to force Ukrainian units out of occupied positions. The number of combat clashes along the entire front line has risen to 131, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the Kharkiv region continues to suffer from insidious rocket and bomb strikes originating from the territory of the Russian Federation. At noon, Russian troops inflicted damage with three aerial bombs on private homes and utility buildings in the village of Tsyrkuny.
As a result of these insidious and criminal actions by the aggressor, civilians have been harmed. Additionally, the enemy conducted three strikes with nine aerial bombs on Lyptsi, and dropped two more bombs on Zelene. Combat is ongoing in the area near Vovchansk throughout the day. Our soldiers repelled six enemy attacks and five more are still underway.
Situation on the fronts
The Kupiansk direction
Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian defenders have repelled seven attacks by Russian forces near Stepova Novoselivka, Stelmakhivka, Synkivka, and Kruhlyakivka. Two battles are still ongoing.
The Lyman direction
The enemy's 14 attempts to advance into our territory in the areas of Nevske, Makiivka, Torske, Hrekivka, and the Serebrianske forestry were unsuccessful. Three battles are still ongoing. Preliminary losses of the aggressor in this direction since the beginning of the day are 90 troops killed and wounded, with five bunkers and one ammunition depot destroyed.
The Siversk direction
The enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders 19 times near Bilohorivka, Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Rozdolivka, and Vyiimka. Our soldiers firmly held the defense and repelled 15 enemy assaults. Four battles are still ongoing. Preliminary data indicates that the losses of Russia here amount to 63 people. Two tanks, six armored combat vehicles, a self-propelled artillery unit, and a vehicle were destroyed.
The Kramatorsk direction
The occupying forces continue to press on our defenders' positions near Chasiv Yar, Novyi, and Ivanivske. Ukrainian defenders repelled three assault actions, and two battles are still ongoing. The Horlivka-Toretsk direction.Throughout the day, the aggressor, supported by aviation, unsuccessfully attacked our defenders' defensive lines 14 times. The situation is under control.
The Pokrovsk direction
The hottest spot along the entire front line remains the Pokrovsk direction. The number of enemy assaults here has increased to 36. The Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks by the aggressor, and nine battles are ongoing.
The Kurakhove direction
Fighting continues in the Kurakhove direction. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has been attacking near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostyantynivka. The total number of attacks here has increased to 11, of which nine have been repelled and two are still ongoing.
The Vremivka direction
Russian forces attempted to breach our defenses near Vodiane four times. Two battles are still ongoing.
The Prydniprovskyi direction
Five assaults by Russian troops in the Krynky area ended unsuccessfully. The situation is under control.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent the Russian forces from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory. However, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has continued to increase the pace of their offensive actions.
