Russian forces carried out airstrikes on a frontline community in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attack, one woman was killed, and three more people were injured, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Around 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time, Fedorov reported that the occupying forces had struck civilian infrastructure in one of the frontline communities in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attack, residential buildings and social facilities were destroyed and damaged.

It was reported that a woman might be trapped under the rubble, prompting a search and rescue operation.

Later, Fedorov confirmed that the woman was found dead.

"A 66-year-old woman was killed. Rescuers retrieved her body from the rubble of a building destroyed by the strike," said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

According to preliminary reports from the administration, a 57-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were injured in the attack.

Later, Fedorov added that the number of wounded had increased.

"A 74-year-old woman in moderate condition was taken to the hospital. Doctors are providing her with medical assistance," he stated.

Attack on the Zaporizhzhia region

On the night of March 30, Russian forces also attacked the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result, a high-voltage power line and at least ten houses were damaged. Due to the attack, part of the settlement of Kushuhum was left without electricity.

Additionally, on March 27, the Russian army cut off power to an entire community in the Zaporizhzhia region. It carried out ten strikes on one of the region’s frontline communities, damaging residential buildings, fences, and non-residential structures.

On the night of March 25, Russian troops used kamikaze drones to strike the Zaporizhzhia district. Two people were injured in the attack.

Furthermore, on the evening of March 22, Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy struck one of the region’s settlements with guided aerial bombs (KABs), causing power supply issues in several villages.
