As a result of the Russian attack, Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region was hit. The railway station was targeted by the Russian army, according to the Kramatorsk City Military Administration Head, Oleksandr Honcharenko, and Ukrzaliznytsia.

"The aggressor country continues to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities: as a result of the attack on Kramatorsk, windows and the facade of the Kramatorsk railway station building, as well as other production facilities at the station, were damaged," Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, station staff and passengers were not injured, and train operations are proceeding on schedule.

Honcharenko also reported that Kramatorsk was hit by an enemy strike and posted photos of the damage.

"We are assessing the consequences," the mayor added.

Attack on Ukraine on April 24

Russian forces launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine on the night of April 24, using drones and various types of missiles.

Kyiv, Kharkiv, Pavlohrad, and other regions were among those hit. Destruction was recorded across all areas. There is information about casualties and many injured.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that over 200 aerial targets were recorded in total.
