Russian forces attack Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region: One killed, child among injured

Russian forces struck the town of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region on Monday, April 7, killing one person and injuring a child, according to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
"At least one person was killed and two others injured as a result of today’s attack on Kostiantynivka," Filashkin said.
The attack damaged eight private homes, three administrative buildings, a store, and a power line.
"Among the injured is a 9-year-old girl who suffered shrapnel wounds at her place of residence," the head of the Regional Military Administration added.
According to him, the girl and her family had previously been evacuated to a safer area, but returned to Kostiantynivka in March.
Filashkin once again urged residents to leave high-risk areas of the region to protect themselves from ongoing Russian attacks.
"Once again, I appeal to all residents of the Donetsk region, especially parents: be responsible! Evacuate in time! Protect your life and the lives of your children!" he emphasized.
