Russian army attacked energy workers in the Dnipropetrovsk region today, September 30, using drones. Fortunately, no one was injured, according to DTEK (the largest energy company in Ukraine - ed.) on Telegram.

As noted by the company, a repair team was working near the front line, restoring damaged power lines. At that moment, the Russian forces attacked them with drones.

"Fortunately, the energy workers managed to take cover and remained unharmed. A drone from the Russian occupiers hit a service vehicle and completely destroyed it," DTEK clarified.

After that, the crew was evacuated from the shelling site.

What preceded this

It should be noted that the Russian forces regularly shell energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. As a result of such strikes, energy workers often suffer injuries or fatalities.

The enemy also insidiously attacks repair crews that are restoring electricity supply after Russian shelling.

In particular, in June, the Russian army struck an energy crew in the Donetsk region while they were carrying out repair work. A 33-year-old man was injured.

As noted by DTEK, 60 repair crews work daily in the Donetsk region.
