Russian forces attack ambulance crew that was rushing to assist injured person in Kherson
Russian forces struck an ambulance crew in Kherson today, August 27. The medics were responding to a call following another shelling, according to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, on Telegram.
According to him, medics who were on their way to help a wounded 63-year-old man in the Dniprovskyi district were attacked. Three medical workers were injured, and the vehicle was damaged.
The ambulance crew was taken to one of Kherson's hospitals.
"Three medical workers—a 59-year-old woman and two men, aged 46 and 64—sustained blast and closed head injuries, as well as a concussion," Mrochko reported.
He specified that the Russian forces used a drone for the attack.
Shelling of Kherson
Russian troops almost continuously shell Kherson. This is due to the fact that the enemy still controls the left bank of the Kherson region.
On August 24, it was reported that a baby was injured as a result of another Russian attack on Kherson.
Additionally, at the end of July, a woman was killed in Kherson due to a Russian strike.
