Russian Federation struck energy infrastructure of Sumy region
During the night of July 6, Russian attacks using Shahed-type drones caused power outages in several districts of the Sumy region, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
Emergency repair crews are working to restore electricity. The full impact of the enemy attack is still being assessed, the regional administration reported.

In the Sumy region, more than 100,000 consumer accounting hubs have been de-energized. This affects 348 settlements (Okhtyrka district and part of the Sumy district). Also, some consumers in the city of Sumy are temporarily without electricity.
On the night of July 6, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with several groups of strike drones. Explosions were heard in Sumy.
The municipal water company, Miskvodokanal, reported that due to power outages at all its facilities, the water supply to the city has been temporarily halted.
An explosion was also reported in the Poltava region.
