Russian forces are increasing the number of tactical missile groups in regions near the Ukrainian border, posing a threat of missile strikes to several Ukrainian regions, as reported by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff's Main Operations Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Hromov.

Deputy Chief of the General Staff's Main Operations Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Hromov, said that Russia is bolstering the number of tactical missile groups in the areas bordering Ukraine. A division of the coastal missile complex "Bal" has been relocated to the Bryansk region.

This raises concerns over the enemy's capability to carry out missile strikes using the X-35 missiles. Hromov saif that the range of these missiles enables the enemy to target objects in the territories of Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

He further noted that Russia is currently focusing on targets related to logistics, industrial facilities, as well as oil and gas infrastructure.

The "Bal" missile complex:

The "Bal" is a Russian coastal mobile missile complex equipped with anti-ship missile X-35. The complex is designed for territorial water and strait control, defense of naval bases, other coastal facilities, and coastal infrastructure. It serves to protect vulnerable coastal areas from potential enemy landing.

The range of engagement is 120 km with the X-35 missile and 260 km with the X-35U missile.

Background:

Previously, it was reported by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) that Russian forces had moved the coastal missile complex "Bal" to the Bryansk region in Russia to shell Ukrainian cities.

This missile complex belongs to the 11th separate coastal missile and artillery brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, based in Utash village, Krasnodar Krai.

Russia continues shelling Ukraine:

Russian forces have been attacking peaceful cities in Ukraine with missiles and drones almost every night. Just last night, the enemy deployed four cruise missiles and dozens of Iranian Shahed drones.

Once again, the Dnipropetrovsk region suffered from the hands of Russian terrorists, as missiles hit two industrial enterprises in Kryvyi Rih, claiming the lives of 13 people.
