Russian strikes on Odesa and the region
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have regularly shelled Odesa and the surrounding region using various types of missiles and attack drones.
On October 29, a nighttime strike damaged a DTEK energy facility in the region, injuring one worker. Around 30,000 homes were left without power. Repair work has already begun, and critical infrastructure is being powered by generators.
On October 11, the enemy also attacked Odesa and the region with drones, damaging energy facilities, residential buildings, a hotel, and several apartment blocks. One person was injured.
Earlier, Russian drones hit Odesa and nearby areas, destroying residential buildings and the Sports Palace. Fires broke out in a nine-story building, warehouses, and several cars. The Sports Palace sustained significant damage.
