Russian drones strike ice cream factory in Ukraine's Zhytomyr region

Overnight, enemy drones attacked a facility in the Zhytomyr community, according to Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration.
Russian forces continue to strike civilian infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region. This time, drones hit a food industry facility.
A fire broke out at the site of the strike. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service contained the fire and completely extinguished it.

There have been no deaths or injuries as a result of the attack so far.
"Due to the threat of repeated strikes, firefighters were forced to move to safe locations. State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts inspected the area for explosive hazards," the State Emergency Service added.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the attack targeted an ordinary ice cream factory.
Meanwhile, overnight, Russian forces struck the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs.
In the Saltivskyi district, a bomb hit an apartment building, and the number of injured rose to 22, including eight children.
It is known that Russian forces had changed their approach to long-range strikes on Ukraine. Since the beginning of the year, they have struck railways, ports, and water intake facilities, followed by warehouses, the economy, and data centers.
A source close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggests that the person or team in Russia responsible for planning such attacks may have changed.
