In Kyiv, a mother and son were killed in a Russian attack on the night of May 7. There are also injured, most of them children, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

"As a result of a Russian drone attack today in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a mother and son, born in 1960 and 1997, were killed. The woman did not live 2 days before her birthday," he said.

Another Russian drone hit a house in the Sviatoshynskyi district. There are already 6 victims, 4 of them are children. According to Tkachenko, a brother, and sister, and their father were wounded in one of the apartments and hospitalized.

2 more victims, a 14-year-old child and a 47-year-old woman, were treated on the spot.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, as of 10:20 a.m. Kyiv time, 2 people were killed and 6 injured in the Russian drone attack on Kyiv. There is also one wounded as a result of the Russian ballistic missile attack.

"I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims. I wish strength and a speedy recovery to all the injured. At present, work is underway at all locations to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack," Tkachenko added.

Russian combined attack on Kyiv

On the night of May 7, Russian invaders launched a ballistic missile at Kyiv, which was shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces. The wreckage fell on a warehouse in the Solomianskyi district, causing a fire.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia fired a total of 4 ballistic missiles and 142 drones at Ukraine overnight, half of them Shaheds drones.
