Russian drones hit businesses in Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi region, damage and injuries reported

Several businesses were damaged in the Khmelnytskyi district of Ukraine during the Russian drone attack. Air defenses worked to repel the strike, but damage was reported, according to Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration chief Serhii Tiurin and Khmelnytskyi City Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn.
Aftermath details
The drone attack on the region has now ended. The regional military administration chief said air defense forces were actively operating during the alert.
"Preliminarily, several businesses in Khmelnytskyi district were damaged in the attack," Tiurin said.
All relevant emergency and specialized services have already been dispatched to the scene to deal with the aftermath.
Details on the extent of the damage and any possible casualties are still being clarified.
According to Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn, a high-rise residential building and vehicles parked nearby were damaged in this Russian attack.
Destruction has also been reported at several businesses in the Khmelnytskyi district.
Authorities said four people have so far been reported injured.
One of the injured people was hospitalized. No deaths have been reported at this time.
Ukrainian regions under Russian attacks
As previously reported, Russian forces regularly strike civilian and critical infrastructure across Ukrainian regions, using drones and ballistic weapons.
The Russian army attacked Khmelnytskyi district with drones on the evening of September 2. The strike sparked fires at a warehouse and a truck, and one person was injured.
In addition, overnight on September 5, Russian troops launched a ballistic strike on the Kametstal plant in Dnipropetrovsk region. Five people were killed in the attack, and the facility's operations were halted.
