On the night of October 13, Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk, the Donetsk region, with four Geran-2 kamikaze drones, according to the Kramatorsk city council.

According to authorities, at around 1:25 a.m. Kyiv time, enemy drones struck the central part of the city. Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties or injuries.

As a result of the attack, the following were damaged:

  • Administrative buildings – including the pre-war renovated building of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

  • Educational institution – Kramatorsk Secondary School No. 15 (grades I–III);

  • Commercial infrastructure – shops, cafés, and service premises;

  • Residential sector – windows and balconies were shattered, and roofs were damaged in four apartment buildings.

Utility services worked at the strike sites, while civil protection specialists inspected the damage and provided assistance to residents.

Kramatorsk

Kramatorsk regularly comes under attack due to its proximity to the front line. Russian forces strike the city with various types of weapons, including aerial bombs, missiles, and drones. These attacks destroy residential buildings and industrial facilities, causing injuries and fatalities among civilians.

Attacks on Kramatorsk

Earlier, we reported that on the evening of October 5, Kramatorsk was hit for the first time by a Russian fiber-optic drone.

RBC-Ukraine also reported that on the night of September 23, Russian forces carried out a double strike on Kramatorsk, resulting in damage to buildings.

On Saturday, October 11, two Geran-2 drones hit the building of Secondary School No. 12 named after Stepan Chubenko.
