Russian drones attack Ukraine overnight from six directions, Air Force says

Russian forces launched an overnight attack on Ukraine with 65 strike drones from six directions on September 30. Most of the enemy targets were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
“On the night of September 30, the enemy attacked with 65 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from the following directions: Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 40 of them were Shaheds,” the Air Force stated.
Aviation, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems forces, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the air assault.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 a.m. Kyiv time, air defense shot down or surpassed 46 enemy drones, Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, in the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.
In addition, 19 strike drones hit targets at 6 locations, while debris from downed UAVs fell in 2 locations.
