Russian drones attack port infrastructure in Odesa region, driver killed
Russian occupiers launched a night attack on the Odesa region using kamikaze drones on December 7. The port infrastructure was targeted, resulting in casualties, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"Today, Russian terrorists attacked the Izmail area with kamikaze drones, with the attack lasting for almost two hours overnight. Our air defense forces managed to shoot down the majority of the Shahed drones, but unfortunately, some hit their targets," Kiper said.
According to him, the occupiers specifically targeted the port infrastructure of the Danube region. The attack damaged a warehouse, an elevator, and trucks. A fire occurred at the site of the impact, which was promptly extinguished.
Due to the Russian attack, a driver of one of the trucks lost his life.
"I once again emphasize the need to respond to air raid alarms in case of a threat," added the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
