The head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported that as a result of today's drone attack on Odesa, people were injured, and civilian infrastructure was damaged. Efforts to address the aftermath of the shelling are ongoing in the city.

The official stated that Odesa came under enemy fire on the evening of April 13, with strike drones being used in the attack.

"According to preliminary information, four people were injured as a result of the strike," the head of the Regional Military Administration reported.

In addition, the drone strike caused damage to civilian infrastructure and vehicles. Fires are also being reported.

"All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences," Kiper added.

Later, the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, said that according to updated information, five people were injured in Odesa as a result of the Shahed drone attack.

“They sustained shrapnel wounds and burns. Our doctors are providing them with all the necessary medical assistance,” the official said.

Updated: Drone strike damages hospital in Odesa, aftermath photos

A hospital in Odesa was damaged overnight in a Russian drone attack, according to the city council.

Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov said the strike damaged the building's roof structure, shattered windows, and hit an operating room. Fortunately, no patients were injured.

In addition to the hospital, the drone strike - carried out using Iranian-made Shahed drones - also damaged residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, a car repair shop, and multiple vehicles, city officials said.

“At least five people have been injured so far. They are receiving the necessary medical care,” the Odesa City Council confirmed.

Russian drone strike on Odesa

As previously reported, on the evening of Sunday, April 13, explosions were heard in Odesa amid an enemy attack using strike UAVs.

The Ukrainian Air Force had warned city residents about the presence of enemy kamikaze drones in the Odesa area. They urged citizens to stay in shelters until the air raid alert was lifted.

Local online communities reported hearing several explosions around the city.

Additionally, that evening, Russian forces launched several groups of strike UAVs for yet another air attack on Ukraine. Enemy aerial targets were detected in several regions.
