Russian drones attack Kyiv region, child injured

A child was injured in an evening attack by enemy drones in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region. Private homes were also damaged in the region, according to Kyiv Regional Military Administration Head Tymur Tkachenko.

A girl born in 2019 was injured in the Russian drone strike.
The child was diagnosed with acoustic trauma and is currently under medical supervision, receiving all necessary care.
According to the regional administration, four sites were damaged in the district:
- three private homes;
- one vehicle.
Specialized and emergency services continue to work at the scene, dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
Residents of the region are urged not to ignore air raid alerts and to remain in shelters until the all-clear is given.
Russia’s overnight attack on September 17
Russia attacked seven regions of Ukraine on the night of September 17, using drones, missiles and aerial bombs.
The massive strike destroyed private homes, a railway station and critical infrastructure facilities. More details on the aftermath of the attacks across the regions are available in the report.
Kyiv was also attacked. Among the damaged sites was the building of the sports complex of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
In addition, at least 20 people were injured in the capital after enemy strikes, while Kyivvodokanal (Kyiv's municipal water utility) facilities were also damaged.
