Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region was attacked by enemy drones during the night of October 12, according to Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva on Telegram.

Russian drones struck one of Chuhuiv’s educational institutions, causing significant damage to the building. A nearby residential house was also damaged.

So far, there is one reported casualty - a woman experiencing an acute stress reaction.

“Relevant services are working at the site,” Halyna Minaieva wrote.

Earlier, Suspilne TV reported two explosions in the city.

The Ukrainian Air Force had previously warned of drone activity in eastern the Kharkiv region.

As of 2:15 a.m. Kyiv time, the risk of drone strikes remains in the Kharkiv region.

Chuhuiv attack on the night of October 11

Late on Friday, October 10, Chuhuiv was targeted by Russian drones.

According to city authorities, the Russian strike caused a fire, leading to a power outage in part of Chuhuiv. One person received medical assistance on site.

It was later reported that a private enterprise suffered significant damage, and three residential houses were also damaged.

The day before, on the night of October 10, Russia carried out a massive combined attack across Ukraine using various types of strike drones and missiles. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that radio-technical troops tracked and monitored 497 aerial targets.
