An enemy drone struck the Sumy regional administration on August 10. The administration building was damaged, according to a statement from Oleg Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration.

According to reports, early this morning a Russian drone hit the roof of the Sumy regional state administration building in the city center.

There are no reported casualties.

Russia is systematically attacking administrative and civilian facilities, aiming to pressure the local population and spread panic.

Because of this, authorities are urging residents and visitors of the Sumy region to avoid being near administrative buildings and critical infrastructure during air raid alerts.

Strike on Sumy

Sumy faces daily enemy shelling. On July 26, early in the morning, occupiers attacked the city with drones. The attack caused disruptions to electricity and water supplies in Sumy.

Later, local authorities reported strikes on civilian infrastructure and an impact on a non-residential building.

MP Oleksandr Kachura shared video footage of the strike on the Sumy regional administration. RBC-Ukraine sources in law enforcement confirmed the attack.
