The Russian forces attacked the building of the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Saturday, July 26, a source in law enforcement told RBC-Ukraine. A video of an enemy drone hitting the building was posted online.

"There was a hit to the building of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, no casualties are reported at this time," the source said.

Officially, the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported only a hit to a non-residential building, as well as strikes on civilian infrastructure.

However, MP from Sumy, Oleksandr Kachura, published a video of a drone hitting the building of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

Updated. Local authorities have confirmed that the building of the Sumy Regional Military Administration was hit. The footage of the aftermath was published by the governor, Oleh Hryhorov.

According to him, one of the Russian drones hit the center of Sumy - Independence Square. The building of the Sumy Regional State Administration was damaged.

The police noted that windows in a neighboring apartment building were smashed. No injuries were reported.

Local media reported that on the night of July 25, the building of the administration also came under enemy fire. According to media reports, a Russian drone hit the building and a fire broke out.

Attack on Ukraine

On the night of July 26, the Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukraine. They fired 208 drones and 27 missiles, most of the targets were shot down, but there were also hits.

The Russians massively attacked Kharkiv. According to the mayor, they struck the city 20 times in three hours. Six people were injured, including rescuers.

Dnipro and Kamianske were also under attack, where the Epicenter shopping center burned down.

The Russian army massively attacked Shostka, Sumy region, at night. In Sumy, there were power and water outages due to the morning attack.
