Russian drone strikes Kyiv high-rise, killing 14-year-old boy

On the morning of September 25, an enemy drone struck a high-rise residential building in Kyiv, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration and Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"According to preliminary information, a residential building in the Pecherskyi district was damaged as a result of a drone crash. Emergency services are heading to the scene," the Kyiv City Military Administration said.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the capital was attacked by a jet-powered Shahed drone. The Air Force reported that it was over the city at around 8 a.m.
Eyewitnesses on social media reported that a fire broke out at the site of the strike.
Vitali Klitschko clarified that the building was hit between the 7th and 10th floors.
The Kyiv City Military Administration said that one person was known to have been injured in the attack.
A 14-year-old boy was killed in the strike.
Three people were injured in the Russian attack on the capital on September 25. All of them were hospitalized. One of the injured is in serious condition.
Police released photos of the building in the Pecherskyi district that was hit by the Shahed drone.

"At least seven residents were injured. Information on the number of casualties is being clarified," the statement said.
Russia attacked Ukraine with nearly 300 drones on the night of September 25. Some of them were jet-powered.
The attack on Kyiv has continued since the night. A 25-story building in the capital was hit at the level of the fourth floor.
