Russian forces have committed yet another war crime in Ukraine's Sumy region. A drone strike killed one child and severely injured another, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reports.

A 13-year-old teenager was also injured in the attack. He was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, and doctors are fighting to save the child's life. The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated.

"Russia continues to target civilians. Children. I urge residents of border communities not to ignore air raid alerts. Take care of yourselves and your children," Hryhorov added.

Russian terrorists regularly kill children in Ukraine. After a Russian missile strike on Kyiv, 31 people were killed, including six children, and another 179 were injured.

In Kharkiv on August 1, Russian troops attacked the city with a Molniya drone. Ten people were injured in the strike. Among the victims were three children - a baby and two boys.
