Russian drone strike hits power plant near Kyiv, injures two workers

The Russian army struck a power substation in Kyiv region. Two energy workers were injured, workers, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
"As a result of the enemy attack on one of the substations in the Boryspil district, two DTEK employees were injured. They have been taken to a local hospital," the administration said.
Preliminary reports indicate that one worker sustained shrapnel wounds to the head, chest, arm, and legs, while the other suffered an ear injury and abrasions. Both were hospitalized and are receiving medical care.
DTEK said the team came under attack after the air raid alert had been lifted. The strike was carried out with a Shahed drone.
"Two of our colleagues were injured. We are providing them with all necessary medical and psychological support," DTEK stated.

Recall that due to Russian attacks, Donetsk region was completely left without electricity, as the enemy targeted energy infrastructure facilities in the region.
Meanwhile, restoration work continues in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi after last night’s Russian drone strike, which damaged critical infrastructure.
It is also worth noting that this morning, new groups of Russian drones were launched. Air raid alerts were issued in several northern regions, as well as twice in Kyiv.
Monitoring channels reported explosions in the Boryspil district, and later information about power outages also spread online.
